Oyster Populations in the Bras d’Or

During Bras d’Or Watch field day on July 14, watchers reported seeing many young oysters as they waded around the shallows with their viewing tubes. This may be good news for an oyster population that was virtually wiped out in 2002 by a disease known as MSX.  Annamarie Hatcher tells us more about the story here.
